Yea but jason if you look at for sale he doesnt have his stock parts... And I doubt he is out of his payments enough to pay cash for the 03
But seriously getting a older one can cut that payment in half or more depending on how much you have cut into what you owe vs what the car is worth...

Post it everywhere you can to sell it... Craiglist, signs in windows, pennysaver, Ebay if other stuff doesn't work...
And yea most dealerships wont know/notice the difference in lights.
But really do try all your options before selling man.

Holy crap man soo even if you sell you will be upside down and owe...
DO you have the money to pay off the car if you sell it outright at 20K???
Because if not you cant really sell it private sale unless you take a personal loan for the balance you will owe.

jason you are right, but if he cant afford it, that isnt an option
I wont even go into the financial decision that was made in the first place because we all make mistakes.
SBZeneth, I would talk to someone with a little more experience in finance and such and plan how you can:
1: get out of being upside down in your loan
2: what to do to sell /trade the car if you cant
3: what you can afford and what is the best decision
4: create a budget so this sort of thing isn't forced on you again.

true but the thing is your gonna pay for this car either way.. you trade it or sell it the 24k is still going to the bank you know.. so my suggestion would be to keep it even tho things are tight get ur job there making more money and northwestern is a big school so you dont need to go off campus much during the winter

sbZenith you think about selling everything and going back to stock and using that to pay off 3-4 months of payments to allow you to get back on you feet.
I agree with jason if you can afford it ina year it makes more sense to try to battle out the tough times.
