Like i dont know about american muscle.
I had a primerd sp nova in high school with a big block that would have most of you **** your pants.
That i did 80% percent of the work on thank you.
So enough of what i dont know about domestics.
No originality in TT z , although they are nice for some.
Just the purrr of v8 under the hood of z would sound nicer imo.

Meh, I had a 68 mustang I sold recently to fund my Z project. When I sell my Prelude I should have just enough to do what I want to do. A nice american V8 under the hood doesnt do anything for me. I dont care how many cylinders you have, there are 4 cylinder cars that can spank V8s (in the right conditions, build, boost and such). I just like when people build on what they have and are proud of it.

Agree with you only to the fact should have kept the stang.

Its vintage , re-sale on a z is **** poor no matter what you have done or the mileage you have on it.

Yeah there are some cars that can beat v8's with 4cyl but only the cost of a huge turbo and no driveability at all.

Been there done that was not impressed.

With that said you automatically have an advantage when you start with more displacement.

Thats even before you add boost into the situation.

Look at the amount money you have to spend just to get stock vq above the magic 300hp mark , now compare that to a say an ls1 which respond very well to any mods.

Plus performance parts in general are alot cheaper for domestics.
Just IMO....

Idk, I saw an acquaintance of mine drop a corvette motor (I think) into his 240sx, it was cool or whatever. But get a corvette man!

The mustang was neat, got a lot of respect on the street, people yielding to me and the ever popular thumbs up and all, but it just wasnt practical, I sold it to someone that could really appreciate it the way it deserved. Besides... I got enough to buy a Z, which is what I really wanted, lol.

I dont need a billion horsepower, I just want a nice spirited daily driver. Im not adventurous enough to do the whole transplant thing anyway. I had a friend turn his prelude from fwd to rwd with a s2000 drivetrain. Hey, cool, go team. But not worth the time and money for all that fab work I think personally. To each his own, I still want to see it when you finish man.

Thanks for kind words man.

Yeah i love the z and at one time really wantd to sell her , just realized i would get nothing for her. Even though she is an honest mint 03 chrome silver track edition.

Then dabbld with the idea of buying a vette and putting a blower on it or tt.

But soon found out it is hard to come by a mint all black zo6.

Have seen countless tt swaps and road in just as many , just doesnt grab me the ***** at all as i thought it would.

So here lies my dilema sell the z lose alot of money that would fund the built vette or throw the vette motor in the z and have people shake there head at it.

For being a bastard step child of both worlds.

I say do what you want to do man. When I threw the butterfly doors on my Z, they thought I brought a little too much of my honda past with me to the Z, lol.

If you like it, do it, its your car. Break some barriers and you will at least get respect for doing your own thing and breaking the mold.

this thread is for randomness right?
