My theory about them not letting their customers grunt is for profit. Yes, Profit. In the gym people grunt/ yell/ shout/ make scary faces. When they do this it helps them finish their last few reps that they are struggling with because they are tired and their arms, legs, shoulders, thighs, calvs, etc are burning. I believe that if your not allowed to grunt it will take longer for you to get your wanted results. Thus, they do this so members will keep on renewing their memberships and keep coming back, if they allow them to grunt they will get their wanted results faster and current customers may decide to terminate their memberships, which in end will cause them to lose money.

its in white marsh/middle river...my brother owns the place and i told him that i will be having a few Z/G meets there and he is all for it. they are creating more parking space which will be able to hold all of us. Every wendsday they have some Ravens show on air with 105.7 or something like that then around 10 they have a DJ come in for dancing and beer pong. There is a lounge at the top of the resturant were we can all just chill and hangout.

nah, it's because it scares away the people who are not serious. Reasons why to go to golds gym. Everyone is lifting big weights, yelling and making noise at the same time so it's a normal occurance.

The one in bowie wants like $50 a month and you have to pay some stupid sign up fee which is like $150
