I saw in the article that the nominations had to be in by Feb 1st? So that was less than 1 month into his Presidency? I haven't had much time to look into everything, so people ....please fill me in.

They were harping about it this morning on the Ed Norris Show. I basically think his just winning the Presidency showed some type of unification among us all. Seeing as how he's the 1st and most likely last Black dude to be elected. But I don't know what significant event he himself has done to deserve the prize.
