yeah this is a good idea...the recruiters will tell you anythying...ill tell u what really goes down even though im in full time navy...but yea u can get up to E3 based upon your college credits...other way to get E3 beore bootcamp...

1)Eagle Scout
2)Recruit ppl
3)Get in real good w/ ur recruiter and do good in DEP,delayed entry program
4) ROTC

Wow I just got into a huge argument with a redneck tracking driver neighbor. Dude parked his nasty looking Buick JDM style taking up 2 parking spaces all the time. Parking is a real issue in this community. I nicely wrote a note and put it on his windshield saying "Learn to park without taking up 2 parking spaces". Dude jumped out of his truck and came charge at me. Typical redneck threw out some racist comment and challenged me to a fight. I walked away and said "Go back to school and get educated".
