I had two my350z forum windows open and i combined what was going on in two different threads. I have no clue what the hell im doing. too many monitors. Im confused.
I was reading about a guy who needed struts for his trunk and was looking for them and my brain just combined everything when you were talking about your under strut stereo system which made me think of your super sweet board you have to hold up your trunk (which you should totally paint purple). \
I dunno. nevermind I give up.

Ultimitly I think I am going to get the CF cloth stuff and rewrap or do a custom fiberglass setup...
I just lined mine with rhino liner sealed it up and filled with HF acid. I can just throw people in there melt em down and slowly drain em out as I drive down the highway.
