Jason you have 40 inch wheels???? Hahahaha jk man. Nah first set I did 275/35/18 and it had NO problems lowered on TEIN springs, front AND rear. Now that I have it slammed, 275 wouldn't fly in the front, wouldn't be a probelm in the rear though. But my new tire sizes are 245/40/18 all around. No problems except for serious bumps in the front.
Your picture you sent me, the tires looked fat as hell. You shouldn't have to roll, but then again you got 10 inch wide and I got 9.5 inch, not that big of a differnce, but it could be enough. What offset did you get? My 9.5 is e20 in the rear.
I don't see how you would rub, like even on Tanabe springs, you should be set to go. But with 275/40/18.....That may be it. I would have done 275/35
