w00t got my coilover fixed! It was just the top hat that was loose. So instead of having the coilover rebuilt, the guys at andrewtech did "yearly Maintenance" by taking them apart and lubing everything with anitseize and lubing the bearings on he pillow mounts. They also gave me a new uber tweaked alignment and raised the car up about an inch. Wheel gap FTMFW!!! Car now handles 10x better!!

Anyone remember that crash? it was a street filled with all the locals. It was like a big get together in the streets. No where near your normal street racing. As with most stupid things, they will use that over and over again to try and get their point across.

The main issue I have is racing doesn't mean speeding, if a police officer feels that you are in any type of competition with another vehicle even if you're doing under the speed limit, it can be viewed as street racing.

I could see this being something that would effect people who race at a set location with spectators, but for a random 2 cars speeding down the road....... So many times I've gone down 97 at around 80 only to have another car tag a long with me in a playful way.
Most of the time I pull into the slow lane and let them pass showing that I dont care, but other times if Im in a hurry to get somewhere, I guess I'd get nailed for racing and maybe jailed.

 

Sounds more like "We need more revenue"

damn.. epic things happened over the weekend!! all these posts and stuff..

So i got my springs in on friday.. I went to go lower my car.. I did the front suspension as i looked in the box, the springs all looked the same but didnt think twice.. i looked at the paper.. the fronts were 001.. and the rear are 002... the first two springs i grabbed were 001.. so installed the front springs. When i went to do the rear... i noticed the rear spring looked different from the ones in the box...

I take the rear spring off right quick... grab the new springs.. and they don't look anything alike.. i look at the part numbers of the two new springs in the box... sure enough, they sent me four Front springs... i was like dAMNIT!

So now the front is low and the rear is still the same height lol...

Just gotta have them send me the rears...

Just dropped off the car at the dealership hope they will tell me its still under warranty.

 

Anyone know if it's worth trying to sell an OEM 350 bumper and side skirts? I looked the price up online and a brand new bumper only retails for like $200+, so a used one doesn't even seem worth the hassle of selling.
