I believe it was 2006 when the CBR600 stepped its game up a lot hitting near 130hp
The CBR1000 before the ugly model 2009, is still looked at as the best street supersport 1000 due to having a bigger mid range then most bikes, on the flipside the top end is pretty sad. after about 12Krpm the motors just fail in the power department you might as well just shift early.
Thankfully they seemed to of fixed this problem in the new model, but at the same time they the bike a beating with the ugly stick.
Chen, I have short legs and can do just fine, you are best off starting on a smaller bike where you're feet will be fully planted, a Ninja500 is super slim and easily always for good contact with the ground. any supersport bike you will most likely be on your tippy toes. If you're good at riding you will be fine. if you're a noob it will end up causing you to drop it once or twice at a light.
For the record I touch better on my GSX-R1000 then I did on my 02 F4i.
I doubt it, I see a lot more noobs wanting GIXXXXXXERS then CBRs in fact the CBR didn't really kick in until around 2004ish before that they were always looked at as watered down bikes. Too soft. People would always say if you want a nice riding bike get a CBR if you want a fast bike get anything else.

Thank you jeffie for following what I've been trying to say hahaha
I do have a base, and it does have an open diff. And I want to change that...
I have found two OEM pupmpkins and one is set up where both axles spin both directions same time, and the other spins opposite directions same time. I need to find out which one is the LSD so I can buy it...

Barney look at the 1000cc statistics and the age statistics.... Its a little creepy. I found out the most dangerous bike is the one with an idiot on top of it.
