Barnie? I'm sure he's somewhere, maybe hes still passed out under chen.

What I want to know is where the hell is the weekend. This weekend is pretty fail.

Had euro motorcars re-redo one of my wheels on Thursday they said they were running behind so they gave me a GLK for the day. The next day Linh returned it on her way into work since she works in NVA (euro motorcars is in gathersburg) Go figure as soon as she leaves I get a phone call from the place saying they have a jacket in the back seat. The night before me and slim went for pho and I left my jacket in the back DOH! So saturday I worked the breakfast shift, went home grabbed linh then went to euro motorcars to pick up my jacket, then we got some flip food and went home, watched a movie then went to bed =(

Today I got off work picked up some starbucks for me and linh got home and have been since waiting for her to finish painting. Now we're off to sams club for some lobster tails (no killing this time) and then lowes for more paint/goodies.

The weather is starting to turn around but its still meh, so I dont feel like doing chit =( I guess when we get back if the weather is better maybe I'll take the bike out, or we'll work no Martial arts or music crap, then it's off to the grill for the lobster tails and the 2.5" thick ribeye we have waiting for us.

At least linh is getting stuff done with the house, but friggin eh I hate feeling like I got jack **** done all weekend.

2.5" thick ribeye FTW!

BTW bloom in Odenton has lobster tails for $3.99 each.

$16 for lobster and $5.99 for the ribeye per LB so 2.5" thick = about 1.5 lbs each steak.

So much better then going to outback or any other steak house and cheaper!

Ribeye.... salt

Something like a bland *** tenderloin then lots of stuff.

I marinade lots of meat, but steak for the grill, it's just not for me. I want the best beef flavor!

I've had steaks from some of the top dog places in this area, even the palms. Meh, nothing can touch a basic ribeye with just salt when it's done right. Just tonight me and my wife were talking about how so many people just have no idea what it's like to eat a really good steak. Anytime I follow someones advice for a really good steak joint we are always let down.

I might pick up some ribeye this weekend and try it w/ just salt. I need to work on my grilling techniques, so that may be a problem. If I **** it up I'll usually just eat it with A1 sauce to make it taste better. I'd like to be able to just grill it without anything and not have to use any sauce to make it taste better.

Meh

The Palms > > > > > > > Ruths Chris

The Palms wasn't bad but I would have rather went to whole foods for a $22.99 a LB dry aged ribeye and grilled it myself.

Bring it here and I'll make it for you. No thinner then 2" no thicker then 2.5" I've done 3" steaks and they just turn into roast.

Sams club does some pretty good ribeyes but you do need to ask them to cut them for you if you want them thicker then 2"

How long do you usually leave it on each side for the ribeye? Cooked medium.
