Mid-A Epic Random-ness Discussion Thread
I took my out too... i didnt feel a damn difference lol.. the sound was different though... with them in, it doesnt sound so "airy"
So i'm wondering something. I have the 3/8 spacer, berk high flows, 3 inch exhaust, k&n filter in the stock box.
Since the stock ECU likes to keep the oem setting, it's compensating for the extra mods to revert back to stock settings.
Now...since i haven't driven another 350z that's stock in awhile, not sure if i actually gained anything... but the question is... does the retune just make the ecu see the new mods and compensate for it and THEN give me the HP that each mod claims?
OR
Did i actually gain HP and the tune is giving me an additional hp on top of the mods i've done...
i wonder how much hp i'll be gaining from this tune

you should have gained something from just the bolt ons.
To give you an idea, i gained some HP here and there from doing test pipes y pipe exhaust intakes blah blah blah. and then gained some more after the tune.
oh right on. Did you do a before and after dyno to see what you had before the tune? and how much power did you gain?
I just wanna make sure I feel gains from doing this. I know it's not gonna be like, "omg this thing is like crazy fast" but to know i'm gonna feel it.
oh ok... but there was definitely a noticeable gain right? i mean was it enough for the butt dyno to know you've gotten a good amount of power right?

Let's leave it at that.
When all was said and done... there was a slightly noticeable change in the power. also my car revved to 8k after the tune which was fun. but completely worthless haha. but yeah you should see some change.
