That isn't a real aggressive cam, but it will have a solid lope to it. I'd guess you will be in the 470-500whp area.
Wow dude you really know your ****! Your right though it's pretty conservative as far as cams go but I had to go that route because the heads I'm getting will need to be decked to get the stock lS2 64cc chamber size versus the stock L92 70cc. This way I keep the stock lS2 10.9:1 compression ratio. My cam choice was a safe guard for valve to piston clearance.
Lingenfelter CNC ported heads will flow better than LS7 heads anyway and this cam is good for power thoughout the rpm range.
Sounds like a man with a plan. What is the static compression with bolting on factory l92 heads to an LS2 short block.....I would imagine close to 12:1.

Factory l92 heads have a larger chamber size of 70cc so I would imagine it would be lower than 10.9:1. Stock LS2 heads have a 64cc chamber size.
GAAAHHHHHH The Z is in my driveway, but tomorrow the $hitty engine comes out and the new engine and new clutch/flywheel go INNNNN! Back on the road by Friday evening!
what happened oil consumption? i just ordred me clutch last night
But it only took two weeks for the whole process! Pretty surprised. I ordered a cabonetic single disc and paid for 3 day shipping and got it in 2 hahaha So that's pretty cool too. Dropped off the clutch n flywheel with Nissan yesterday, took the car back this morning after raising it up, and they're gonna start removing my engine today. Get the fresh engine and new goods in! Woo!
Nope! 16,xxx miles on it and it was a 2006 I bought in 2007. You should see the odometer....it has 59,8xx miles on it and they're doing the engine hahaahaha it's hilarious. Like seriously right before the warranty is up.
but you figure how many cars they sold with warranty's, you're probably 1 of 5 in 100 that actually goes in and knows about the OC issue and demands they replace your engine because you qualify.

I'm surprised that your blue roll cage didn't void your engine warranty.
Pretty sure if its an auto related shop in the sig, it has to be a vendor here.
On another note I think you should go to nissan and tell them your engine is burning oil and have them take a look at it =)
Too many stupid ****ing rules on this site.
Yea I do need to go to Nissan and ask them about that. I'll ask them if they can find out where the strong fuel smell is coming from as well. Hopefully there's a new guy in training there. I'd like him to work on my car so he can learn. I'll probably give Waldorf Nissan a shot. They usually have the best guys working for them. If they can't figure it out I'll probably head to a random shop in PG County.

what do they do with the old one?
lemme throw it in my 240 i dont care if it burns oil

I'm sure they probably send it back to Nissan or something. When I had the engine and turbo replaced on my Mazdaspeed MX-5, they did that. I asked if I could have the old turbo when they replaced it because you can sell the stock IHI turbo for the MSM for like $2,000. It's DUMB! But they said they had to send it back to Mazda so they could investigate or whatever. So I assume they will do the same at Nissan.
HOWEVER! There is currently a V6 engine (looks like it came out of a truck maybe) sitting next to the dumpster on their lot at Sheehy. So if I see that they just throw my engine out there...you can have it hahaha just gotta find a way to go there and take it.

Why would a roll cage void the warranty? It's just a bolt-in first off, and it doesn't affect the engine in anyway. The only way they'd care is if you had like a bunch of crap done to the engine and drivetrain of the car. I could see if you had some internal work done and like a turbo or something. Of course they wouldn't touch the engine under warranty at that point. But my engine is completely stock at the moment. They actually made me take off my short-ram intake o.O But I didn't complain, it took 20 minutes, and I got a free engine out of. They WERE gonna hassle me about the High Flow Cats at first but the service adviser said he would help me out. He also helped me fidangle some of the mileage and oil-change dates when we sent them to Nissan (of course they asked for records of exact mileage and oil change dates).
