Used to do negatives with 415 [that's when someone lowers the bar onto you and try to stop it from crushing your chest]. Never went higher than 315 and that was before dislocating a shoulder back in college. Only using dumb bells these days.... :0(

Competitive weightlifters and some guys who compete in strongman contests where these specially made shirts called Splash Shirts. It's almost like a girdle/corset/tank top thing that gives your upper torso extra support when you're on the bench. When we were at Goof's 4th of July party we watched some dude on YouTube bench a Harley Davidson bike for reps and he was wearing one.
BTW, anyone checking out Predators this weekend? Thinking about skipping the gym and going after work today.
