Mid-A Epic Random-ness Discussion Thread
Clay when you were in the service your uniform choices were Grey Or Blue and Lincoln was president.
I can see how being "disrespected in uniform" would really **** a service member off. However, in uniform you are held to a higher standard and cant use your "level 2 combatives" to "beat someone up".
In addition think you would be hard pressed to find a time in American history where service members are more respected, thanked, applauded, etc than this day and age. It wasnt long ago soldiers were spit on and protested when they came back from Vietnam. I think todays climate is drastically different.

Damn skippy! And the first hippie bastid that got out of line got the business end of my musket rifle....what wat?
That's really what I wanted to say in that other thread. After the Gulf War, dudes would actually change into their uniforms to go to the mall and get free stuff, girl's numbers, etc....
I can understand someone not agreeing with our government's policies and protesting that. But, seeing a guy diss you in 2010 is something i'd have to witness first hand to believe.
I heart warfighters. I go to work everyday and make sure they have the best stuff available to them to be able to fight for us. I dont exactly have a safe cushy job where I sit in an office. I have to wear the same stuff I test to keep me safe. It just pisses me off when young kids go ape **** with the military stuff. I just think some people arent mature enough to be a Soldier, Marine, etc. This is when you get people that make the true warfighters look bad. I dunno.
Speaking of kits... I found an APS twin turbo kit last night for 5400 shipped.. brand new.. but its the tuner kit.. which i want..
Would this be better than the Powerlab kit? that was like 5900 bucks shipped for the tuner kit?

I knew you'd go FI on the Z Allan. It's only a matter of time
*****SPOILERS******
Ok, remember at the end when he reunited with his kids and he spun the top? In the movie they mentioned that you know the difference between reality vs the dream world because in the dream the top would spin indefinitely. Well the film cuts before you actually see whether it stops or continues. People in the other thread are saying stuff like: since his kids never aged he must still be in the dream state, or other facts[?] that suggest the team never really went into that guy's son's dream, but in fact they ran this experiment on Dom to help him deal with the guilt he was carrying for causing his wife to commit suicide.
