These will NOT be some high school girls that don't know their way around a car. They will be females who appreciate and love cars and are informed and know how to wash them correctly. Maybe not to MDRacer standards (which are extreme even for me washing my own car) but it wont be amateur hour. Water will be changed after every car and mitts rinsed. This won't be your avg. charity/fundraiser wash, it will basically be a professional style hand wash by hot ladies.

This could possibly be the biggest turn out in the history of F:T BBQ events? We just need a date and time.

Hmmmm..... I have an idea how we may be able to raise extra money for charity. $40-$50/wash and you get to sit in the car while the girls wash the outside

Thanks for the hookup brother... we still need to coordinate a good drunk once while I'm down there. Working on my stamina right now...

I have no doubts on what you are saying but still, given my pessimism, skepticism, and cynicism (and every other -ism I have) combined with my overall lack of faith in humanity, I'll still choose to forgo letting complete strangers who will mostly likely be wearing long nails, bling, high heels, and other scratch inducing items and with questionable detailing knowledge/skills wash my car.

It is a worthy charity, though, so I will see if I can make a direct donation without having to risk my clearcoat.

The same way aam gets negative reviews of them deleted and locked on a whim. I agree though, it doesn't makes sense.

Granted I have never been to either shop as I have not had a chance to be home with my car for more then 4 months time yet since I got it thanks to Uncle sam. But I have read almost every informative thread on this damn site during my deployment and have learned more about cars from on here then I have in my whole life.

SO I am completly impartial to either shop and Daves BBQ wasnt stickied but the axact same event for AAM is?? I was wondering if I missed something in all my reading that explains the criteria for a thread in order to be stickied

Maybe some of the "heresay" that is always claimed is really true... I am off to do more reading to be more informed about my car when I get home (and what shop is better )
