Inspired by some of these FI junkies, I'm gonna create a thread dedicated to my girlfriend's G35. As our financial issue slowly gets resolved, the first thing we did was to look at parts for her car! Yes we're a true ricer couple!

So what did we decide as the first mod? RIMS!!! Well not really... more like it was the first deal we found in our master list.

Abui01 decided to get rid of his PIAA Super Rozza that was home painted metallic black with polished lip. As his loyal customer for many years, I got first DIBS before they even had a chance to appear on the Marketplace here!

I stopped by Function:Tuned last Wednesday, took off those rims from Abui01's car and guess what? I broke a freaking wheel lock bolt on his car. OEM wheel lock FTL!!!! Hopefully Master Shiroma is gonna take care of that issue for me as I'm lack of skill and tool to pull that bolt off.

First thing I noticed after receiving the rims is that... the lips aren't shiny!! I went into my storage room, digged out some 3000 grit sandpaper, some meguiars NXT metal polish, a bucket of water and I was ready to spend my whole weekend polishing! Let me tell you I will never in my life polish another set of rims again. Back breaking labor FTL!! Here's the result in case you're curious.

Deciding if we want to get the spokes professional repainted or do some DIY. According to my source there's this spray paint that's excellent for painting spokes and are very durable. The problem is that I'll have to hand strip the existing paint down and that's probably gonna be another weekend of back breaking labor.. hmmm? Anyone got power tools that I can borrow?

More to come!! Body kit, exhaust, suspension, etc, etc... The rice is strong with this one

Paint thinner FTW! And if you get that GTR bodykit, I will jack her car for a night and return it the next day w/ an OEM bumper to save you from Impending Mid-A Doom

So I used some black sharpie and colored the rivets and both me and my gf think it looks a lot cleaner than leaving the riverts unpainted(silverish)! What do you guys think?!
