Default need help with NATS malfunction

idk if anyone has had this same issue. but i have an 05 350z, with NATS malfunction code P1614 and P1615. i know it's an immobilizer fault. i have 70k miles on an original battery. i'm going to replace that tomorrow. the car cranks but it doesn't start. does it randomly. the battery voltage seems ok but i'm just going to replace it anyways cuz it's old. does anyone have any information? i know it could be the key or battery etc. just looking for any information on this topic any help is greatly appreciated.

Whoever ran the diagnostic on it should know how to use the function on the machine that tells you the possible solutions, common problems, overlooked problems, overlooked solutions, etc. At least the Genysis and Snap-On I use does, which I'm assuming you took it to a shop instead of using a home tool.

theoretically what if you just remove the immobilizer? would the car still work properly? so did you ever get that problem fixed?
