Haha, negative on that.

People will claim you put MSG in their food even though you didn't.

If he went to walmart before, why did he go to you now? He logically should be blaming them for the car not running right after the battery install.

I own my own mechanic shop and get this type of $hit all the time. Lots of times they'll say ima call a lawyer and I just say go ahead and ask them if they need a phone book to look one up.

I got this same thing when I was working a part time job as a service truck putting batteries in peoples cars for AAA. We had a lady come to the shop after paying for a bettery and me installing it and saying when she went to a mechanic he told her the battery wasnt her problem. (duh its b rand new) then she refused to take her old battery back that we showed her multiple times on the tester that it was bad. Claiming we had messed it up lol. The owner gave her her money back though.

But I was pretty mad even though it didnt fall back on me she tried to put all the blame on me.

I'm also 10 years into the food business, I've never heard about not eating the tomatoes.

What's that about?

Used to work at a deli while I was doing my undergrad and I remembered hearing about all this food poisoning with salmonella going around from Tomatoes.. one of the guys I worked with who had worked there for much longer than me would handle them without washing his hands.. I thought that was pretty nasty. From then on I could never put tomatoes in my sandwiches that were from deli's. That's pretty much it though I have no problem eating 'em elsewhere :-)

Also, if I ever made a sandwich for myself I'd always get the ingredients which are less likely to be man-handled by us.

I'm having the same problem as OP's customer. I've got a 03 350Z, and today the battery light comes on, volts are a bit unsteady and goes down to 12V while driving... I suspect its the alternator, hav anyone else needed alternator replacing on their 350Z? I dont know how long an alternator is suppose to last, or does it need a rebuild? Any suggestions would be helpful as I need this fixed asap. Also, I've just got a new battery 3 months ago, so that wont be the problem. =)

Alternators are just like any other electrical part...it kinda like when you turn the bedroom light on 1 time and the next time the bulb blows.
