Bride currently makes seats for folks with up to a 42" waist. I don't suggest them for daily driving though since they are buckets. http://cornerbalance.wordpress.com/2...e-zeta-iii-xl/

I'm 6'0, 260 lbs (36/38 inch waist) and I have dosed off in Adam's Brides and Recaros before without a problem. The Recaros were very comfortable as I snored my way down to Zdayz in 2008. For my car I currently have Recaro Speeds, but I don't have any seat time in them but I do fit in them without a problem. It's all about finding the right aftermarket seat for your weight, size and expected use.
