Why are we so mean to each other? We are all very nice members with one common intrest. I dont care what anyone else says or does as long as it doesnt affect me. I think HKS has a point about the one gentleman acting the way he did (mainly because I see it alot). He was there I was not! I will take his word about the mans wheels! I think its ok for him to say whatever he wants because the dude acted the way he did. I love Z's. I will admit I will try and talk to someone if I see them out in thier car. Yeah so im in the parking lot parked next to a Z today at Sheezt. Im cleaning my wheels lip making sure they look good for the meet Im going to tonight. Then out of nowhere this guy comes up behind me and asks "How much those set you back?". What a dick! He had so little class to just come up and ask how much something cost. He didnt even compliment the wheels first. I then pulled a line from FF to retort his cheeky question and said "more then you can afford" and went back to cleaning my wheels. When he pulled out, he was in a basically stock 350z rolling on stockers and made the comment "more then you can afford...dick!!". Man, why are some 350z owners such taint lickers.



You lack a lot of class asking a complete stranger what something cost. Money is very personal and private thing. I dont ask my friends what they spend on their cars and I hate it when they ask me about mine. I really hate it when a complete stranger ask cause you never know their motives are. He probably parked next to you hoping to meet you on better terms but you messed that up first.

One of my biggest peeves is people asking me how much something to do with my car 'set me back'. I'm sure the guy cleaning his rims probably felt the same way.

And since you admit they were crappy rims, why did you even care how much they cost?

 

I have an 03 but my wheels are worth almost as much as a used 350Z so no hate for me.

And I see the Volk snobs are out in full force as usual. I too made the mistake of buying TSW wheels, never again. However I often love the responses you get from people who own Volks and think God himself crafted them from Jesus bones. They are wheels, who cares?
