So here is the history of G ZILLA via photos.... small commentary..grab some pop corn...this is long...

New Years Eve 2005 I picked up the car with about 9K miles on it.

I hit a pot hold on day 3, so I bought these wheels.



Then came the Skyline and Nissan badging..blue lights and headlight covers...you know me...I have to be different...lol That was so terrible I dont even have pics....Do NOT ever get blue headlight covers! LOL

Then I went with interior matched rims (self painted along with a few others on the forums rims) I some how met up with Davidv (my350) and started AutoCrossing every other weekend. Man, I learned the car so much doing this. Again Interior color matched rims was different, but I liked them alot... SuperG was like..hmm not my thing but they fit your personality...lol. Thats when I decided I would go with the STILEN SC as my 1st choice of FI.





The auto crossing then lead to random drives in the car, that lead to the first Late Night Run!

I am starting to get more and more active on the forums and hanging out with 90% Z folks. Skyline drives and Columbia meets...its on like donkey kong!

So I decide to host a meet....EPIC FAIL but FTW because I met Pete and Rob...you may have heard of them...PoloraBear and Ghost30...we are the only one who showed up out of like 15 folks on the list.






NOTE: all the cars are NA and stock looking FTW and FTL..lol
Now we are all boosted suspension and all....man life is so funny sometimes.... we have come a VERY LONG DIFFICUTL BUT REWARDIN WAY.

I get jacked for two sets for rims and all my tools and some SC parts!


They bust the window in my Baby and steal the freshly painted Gold TSWs...



After I get jacked...I am humbled back to OEM 19s and they are awesome. I decide to take the car to another level and actually put something meaningful on the car vs parts dealers that dont pay me. Insurance is like HOW MUCH FOR THE RIMS?! LOL



I put some bronze tint on the windows (Robbie aka Driven1) and had to switch it up again.

Hosted like 4 skyline drives a year.. I kept them all small and full tilt. Yes I got a 62 in a 35, no points on fed property or jail but I got a $200 ticket that I was happy to pay.





I start getting nice angles on all my pictures from being at Skyline Drive so much talking soooo many pictures...



I am like at everymeet...sideways...lol from the Z crew I meet Bam Bam (GTR) Mike D and the others...I was like one of the first FT customers...in daves garage before the shop was even built. lol

This took me a tad longer than 4 hours...how about 2 days...ended up cutting all the seized bolts off the car with a dremel

Drop car off July 2009. Pete and I both have a stock bumper. I did have a NISMO for a breif period of time though.

Everyone ask why I didnt have side skirts on..hmm they were being painted yo!


Now today! Sorry for the crappy blackberry pics but my wife has the cam in Richmond with the fam! Pete and I had to do a little something to show off the nose jobs.....











Please note that my front grill changes from 3 colors...gold, yellow, black..its a translucient color...and off the HOOK!

Good thread Corey but im gonna have to say nay on that front bumper.......but you allways try and be different.But the color of the paint does go with the wheels color.

the grill is three colors... gold, yellow, or black..depending on the angle and light.

I like it...its not like any other G, that for sure, but no matter what I do it will never be a SUPERG, those shoes are too big for me to fill.

Wow. Good build thread. Car looks great except for the utterly digusting front bumper. Would flow better if it was painted black to match the rear overlay of your trunk.

 

Love the wheels, just the front bumper is kinda bleh. Looks good though.

 

I totally respect that Corey is doing something against what the majority go for. I was sooo sick of people telling me to get the KurumaZ front, impluse sides or something like that for the G. Why'd I want to "CUSTOMIZE" a car to look like everyone else's G? I thought the whole point of modding is to be unique? Mad props to you Corey! Car's looking too hot for NOVA!

Thats the only reason i kept the stillen hood as it not like hardly anyone elses G.

i think the nose is kinda cool. +1 on painting the mesh black. I think it tighten stuff up a lot.
