Those aren't A/S tires (they're not listed under A/S on Nankang's site; also, you can tell from the tread pattern and the absence of sipes that it's a summer tire).

Just bite the bullet and get the Michelin A/S+. They will last long and are allegedly good in light snow although you'll probably lose dry and wet grip because of the hard 500 treadwear rubber.

I ran Michellin Pilot Sport A/S and it has been great in rain, snow and dry. Very quite too compare to my previous BFG KDW

ehhh maybe you shouldn't rethink it. lol.

i love the OEM tires on my GT, potenza re050's. they slice like a ninja, cut like a razorblade through rain and grip ridiculously well. you can check out the treadwear when you stop by, but i've got about 16k highway miles on 'em and they're still going strong. plus they're on sale at tirerack for $283 each: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...&filterType=oe

eh if they're good enough for the enzo... haha. but hey i don't have much to compare them to in terms of 19's, and mine are still pretty new.

Not to me or anyone else if you set your expectations right.

Are they loud? They can be. Do they last long? No. Are they good in snow or ice? Heck no.

But do they provide excellent grip in dry and wet conditions? Yes. Do they have a stiff sidewall and provide excellent handling? Yes. Did I set my expectations correctly that 140 TW tires that provide sticky grip won't last long? Heck yes.

any tire will have its limitations esp in rain and snow. the pilot sports work well enough to drive in rain and light snow if you don't drive like a moron. someoone stated poorer dry traction, I can still hook up with them with 430hp, 430tq. honestly a really good tire all around
