Summer is coming to an end and I know I have seen more Zs/Gs out. This is your time to meet the faces behind the wheel and have a good time cruising down Colonial Parkway. Not to mention the awsome food at New York Deli. We will start off meeting at Bailey's Pub at Patrick Henry Mall and then cruising down to Yorktown Beach to stop and take picutres and chit chat. From there we will take Colonial Parkway up into Williamsburg to New York Deli. We have done this meet and cruise in the past with great outcomes (even in the rain), so mark your calanders now and do not say we never try to meet. Can someone could post this on Driver to get more interests.

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend because I'm flying out to Hawaii the day before for vacation.

I doubt I'll have the car gone by then though. I've been busy and out of town this past weekend and again this upcoming weekend, I'll be heading to Philly for the UFC 101 event. And during the week its hard to make time to work on it due to work and my commute.

I might have a plus 1...maybe even a plus 2...one of the kids bought a TT Z on ebay and it can't drive stick yet...so if u ever wanna say you outran a Z-TT Ill bring him. When i met the dude on base he was like "lets line up bro" so we did....then when the light turned green he stalled the 1st 2x...then bucked from 1st-2nd the 3rd.

Now lets see how many of you actually make the Skyline Drive cruise in the fall. It seems like as soon as there is a decent amount of driving involved, everyone suddenly has stuff to do!

The proof is in the puddin'!!

 

I have not seen a thread posted for SkyLine drive cruise... But I have mentioned it a time or two... I hope that to be one of the topics discussed when we all get together on the 23rd.

I think a date should be discussed... with the idea that an overnight stay somewhere up there be considered. Between now and then - I am hoping that the people who see this consider the proposal - and have a "Best Date" idea in mind...

 

It's too soon. Davidv will post a thread in the Local forum when the time comes closer (Late Octoberish i believe). Once he does that i will post a "caravan" thread for all the Hampton Roads members that wanna travel up in a group.

No need to get a room. It's only a 3 hour trip up there. I usually have everyone leave Va Beach at 6am the day of the cruise, and we get back around 7ish that night, depending on how long you decided to stay up there.
