my 9/11 deployment was 6 months. we left the 18th after we got back from doing plane guard after the attacks. this last one was my 3rd deployment. always have gotten a month off, half the ship at a time. we arent off loading anything yet though, not for a few months.
Yal have alot bigger crew. I was on an SSN. So we didn't have that sort of flexibility.
