It is a little too late in the season to get a track rental, but I thought I would see if there was any interest in a meet at Mason Dixon in late October. The 24th is a Saturday and is an open test & tune. There are no events scheduled on this day. Generally these open t&t events have a rather slim turn out. This would be a great opportunity to meet up.

For the people with little to no track experience, this would be a great opportunity to tap the wisdom of other, more seasoned racers. The temps should be cool and great for fast times. Another advantage to this is the ability for the more seasoned racers to get considerable track time before the closing of the tracks for the winter.

We have some of the fastest Z/G's (NA and Turbo) in the country......it would be great to get everyone out to one event together.

I just thought I would throw the idea out there since the spring track day didn't work out.

Avg temp for Oct 24th in Hagerstown is 58 degrees. Last year it was 51........just about perfect.

My car is out of commission and wont be ready in time, so I likely wont make it.

Even if it was running the track would kick me off, I keep holding off dropping coin on a new cage but ugghhhh too much $$$$ I have to much going on right now to think about the car

 

That's unfortunate, but hopefully by the spring you will have it ripping up the track.

 

I say you go and make that one run worth it lol.

 

You can always shut it off at the 1/8th until you get that perfect launch too.

thought mason-dixon had t&t every friday. but i checked the schedual and like you said no t&t this weekend. so i guess no track this weekend.

 

The Friday night t&t are mostly in the spring. DJamps just opened a thread about going to capital on the 25th.
