Ive been living in the area for going on a year now. I have a 2003 350 with a Vortech Kit installed. I need to find someone in the area that is respectable for tuning on Z cars. If anyone knows of a place can you please let me know.

Is tuning the Z car different from tuning other cars?

Why not just look for a local tuner that has a good knowledge base on the engine management system you are running?

 

If you want someone local in the Hampton Roads area I would check out Abacus Racing in Virginia Beach. They've been around for a good while and have a full race Z. I've heard good stuff from them with Z tuning and even a coworker that gets his P-car tuned there.

I know Custom Car Care in Yorktown specializes in Nissans. Not sure there reputation for tuning 350Zs.

 

I've heard some not so great things about CCC.

Does SAGE tune?

 

We do not at this time we are working on some things for the near future.

They're expensive and the same car work can be done somewhere else for a lower price..


For Z tuning I will only go to people that've tuned Zs before regardless of another shops experiencing tuning with the same EMS (if youre even running a piggyback).
