Default Painting Rims

Does anybody know of a good shop to get rims powder-coated? I would like to powder-coat black the stock 17" seven spokers that came on the '03 base/enthus without paying too much (these are winter rims). I spend the week in Bethlehem PA (18015) and the weekends in Valley Forge oustide of Philly (19312), so any place near either of those locations is fine. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

I was going to get mine powder coated, but I dont have a second set of wheels to swap out while I get my tires unmounted, take them to get coated and baked, tires remounted and balanced, THEN put back on the car. Dont underestimate the power of the can, man.

I called up and they said "it depends on the wheel" I guess size and width matter to them? They gotta charge you for the extra couple grams of powder for a 19" vs an 18"

So I just talked to sales over at www.redstarmoto.com and they quoted me for $85/wheel including the sandblasting and powder coating. That seems pretty expensive, but they do come off as being very professional. The rep argued that powders are much better against fighting road salts and things of that nature than clearcoats because of the material makeup. I'm still looking around getting other quotes, I really do not trust myself to use a spraypaint can on these wheels...

those wheels are pretty cheap so why not try it? worst thing that can happen is you dont like it and then you can sand and start over.

Price you got quoted is similar to what my guy near Harrisburg would charge.
