You should bring the graphs from the FT Dyno Day.....I would assume that they will do shootout mode fair "equality" as well. See if there is any difference.

No launch control just good ol fashioned practice. I usually hold revs at about 5000-5500 and slowly let the clutch out till the car moves then let out fully. You just gotta get a feel for it

The issue is i can't get it to 5000-5500...because the launch control is set at 4100ish...i need to figure out how to bypass it or set it higher.

yeah I live by the just before bog practice. In AWD yeah 5K is sweet, but at about 3800 in a G or Z, the car will chirp but not bog and its prime time with a decent set of streets on. Raise up according to tires...lol

Yeah launching a z is much harder imo but maybe thats just cause im used to my sti. I was hoping to get some more runs in to practice but it was really packed there so im eager for next year to do something decent with it. I think I was launching around 3000-3500 rpm and mostly bogged or wheel hopped

There is a mid-atlantic drag racing thread in the Drag forum, people are planning on heading to cecil county dragstip this weekend if you are interested.

I was out there last weekend and met up with a few Z guys. It was my first time there, as I usually run at Mason Dixon. The track prep was great, and people were putting down great numbers..its def. worth the trip.. especially with this weather. there were a decent amount of cars, but the lines moved quick, and people cleared out around 1 pm... I got in 20 runs...

I usually launch somewhere around 2k on street tires. On most of my 1.9 60's it would spin just a little then I'd go WOT.

Launch at 5k............works for me.

Seriously though.....about 2500-2700 on street tires.

Trackdaze has some affordable HPDE courses IMHO.

I've never been so I don't know the quality but I'm sure a lot of your NOVA guys can attend the summit point event.
