Default Ran the Z at the track finally

So my gf and I finally got to run the z a couple weeks back for the first time ever. I was used to running at the track with my Sti but the z is a different story. My gf however never ran anything at the track before but after some persuasion she was in. The track was packed so we both only got about 4 runs each out of it. My only goal was to break 13's and for my gf to get mid 14's. Learning to launch rwd was kinda intersting being used to my awd and i still need some practice. My best time of the day was 13.8@106 and hers was a 14.2 and i forget her trap. I dont have the time slips for each pass since they kinda got messed up but i do have a video of her best pass racing a mustang(he was running 13.2's all day). I was happy with the times for being our first time running and could only get a couple passes each. next year im shootin for low 13's.

also added some other vids to my youtube channel if you wanna check em out.

Not bad.....I thought Mason was closed?

Even though I don't know if I can get a clean pass I think I am going to try and run at Cecil on Sat......weather permitting of course.

David.......Can I line up with the 370 on sat ? Yes, I realize that would be nearly impossible lol, but I hope to see it run at some point.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. Sorry forgot to mention mods but it just has fujita intakes and top speed exhaust and y-pipe. Exterior has painted black wheels and cf hood and b pillars. Mason Dixon is closed now but this was a couple weeks ago. We were thinking of doing the beginner races at Hyperfest next year just for fun. My gf and I get pretty competitive over stuff like that so it makes it more fun.

Sound like me and my GF haha. Her best in my car is a 14.0 I think. Might have to have a battle of the GF's at the track one day lol.

How do you like those intakes? I know a few people that lost power from them and went back to stock.

I know VIR its a little bit of a haul for most of us but I have had the best time down there every single time. First Circuitcross is in Feb like I already mentioned. Its like autoX on the Patriot course but without the cones. Plus, its much cheaper then HPDE and a good beginner's event. I saw 2 other Z out there last August.

I couldnt tell a power loss with them. If anything it felt like it pulled harder in top end. haha that would be awesome to see 2 girls racing z's. Is your Z an auto? Keep in mind my gf will be shifting
