Default Spring install in MD

Hey guys,

The modding has begun on my second Z and I need to get some springs put on. I did it myself at a friends shop on my 03...but have since lost that connection.

I remember some time ago "Nihilation" did cheap installs in VA...but he hasnt answered a PM. Do you guys know of anyone/where else? (Please dont say Altered)

THANKS!

If you don't mind the drive, I'd be more than happy to help you do it one evening at our shop for free. I just installed Tanabe's all the way around on my Z, and it only took me about an hour and a half.

I think all the above places I have heard good things about. Might wanna get prices from everyone. Danny (.Steeez33) has worked on my car in the past and has done a zillion suspension installs on Z/G's. I dunno if he's ever done a vert before.

one jack, one jack stand set, a 12mm, a 14mm, a 17mm, a 18mm, a 19mm, impact gun (optional), torque wrench, and some spring compressors and you're good to go. I can help you tomorrow for free. I did mine for the 3rd time a few days ago. LMK.

wait, tomorrow is valentines day.. no good for tomorrow, next week?

WOW! I am now remembering why I used to love the mid-a so much. Really great stuff guys, thanks so much for all the answers! I think these will get me set up....or should I say set "down"

HEXXUS...LANGTUBIP...VTCHANG. All incredible offers, and I really appreciate it. I dont ever expect someone to help me for free...or even the typical pizza and beer. Maybe Im just getting too "old" but I understand and appreciate the "value" of getting dirty these days, lol.

Rich - Yea, If you could call josh, that would be great.

Otherwise, Im closest to Baltimore now and work in Columbia, so it looks like Hills or Elite are my closest bet. Ill call them asap and get prices. If too steep, Ill def call JandDautoservice.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Ricer!

Yea, long time! Still holding the place down I see!! Its good to be back. I missed this "world". However, my wallet is beginning to feel the pinch. I keep justifying to my girl that these parts im buying and on my list to buy are necessities to the enjoyment of her 350z experience.

unfortunately shes a smart one and is starting to see thru my bull, lol

LOL! I simply tell my girlfriend that it's absolutely imparative that these mods must be done. You never know when you'll be approached by a car spinning out of control on a 1 lane road in the opposite direction and you suddenly need to utilize those Ohlin coilovers w/ the drift spec alignment setting to manuever avoid the pending collision. Bolt-on's and turbo kits are also a necessity to get from point A to B in half the time (in case of an emergency of course.) In short, you're just taking preventive measures because you're keeping her safety in mind!

When looking for my springs install i also tried to get it done by anihilation but he told me he was having troubles at the shop where he was doing which lead to never doing mine. So i went to Steeeeeze23 and he did it.

Just wanted to bump this up guys. I finally got down to getting these installed yesterday.

Danny .steeeez33. did the job, and I wanted to give him and his shop major props. I know springs arent the hardest thing to do, but its always nice to see a shop be so professional. He was extremely fast and let me stand in the shop watching over my baby while the work was getting done. Price was right too!

So, anyway, big thumbs up for this shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thought Id let everyone know
