2010 University of Maryland Spring Meet for Charity
hosted by College Park Tuning

We will be asking for 1(or more) non-perishable food item per person as they enter the lot. If you forget to bring an item or prefer not to, we will collect a $1 donation on your way into the lot. All the donations collected from admission, food sales and the 50/50 raffle are going to be donated to Martha’s Table (http://www.marthastable.org).

Noon, 12:00 pm. If you show up before this time you will NOT be let into the parking lot

Food
• BBQ, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs on the grill
• Soft drinks and other refreshments

Dyno
• $75.00 for 2 - 3 baseline pulls w/ A/F and printout
• If you are interested in dynoing your car, please send an email to collegeparktuning@gmail.com . We are trying to have people pre-register for the dyno.

Basic Rules
1. No tents
2. No alcohol
3. No scandalous attire (this is a family event)
4. Chairs are permitted everywhere but a parking space
5. No saving spaces

ill go this year.. BUT most likely showing the s2000 off... ISP's owner that's around the corner is my boy.. he'll be bringing his crew of supra's and he'll probably drive is supercharged viper....

But if my car isn't ready by then, i'll be driving my 350z and sandy will be driving her G... she's excited to do stuff together now lol

It was sooo hot it wasn't even worth coming out last time. I think I spent more time in the IKEA parking/staging area than I did at CPT.

 

It was hot as sweaty ***** last year. Humid as fawk too. I'll be there, it was a blast sweating all over the place.

 

I'm in again this year. It was brutally hot last year! Something tells me it probably won't be that hot this year. Has anyone start thinking where the Z's will meet this year? Didn't last too long in the Ikea parking lot last year before we got the boot! Columbia Z's met in the Walmart parking lot and drove to Ikea together.

 

I think everyone was there for about 30 minutes before the ghey manager came out.

 

It's amazing how hot it gets in early may...

two years ago it was pretty hot then too!

 

Bring a cooler w/ tons of water bottles and a really big hat, problem solved.

i can't wear hats.. i look silly in hats.. I can't even wear certain glasses... i dont have the face for it lol

We definitely need a better idea for staging this year. Remember last year that douche at IKEA yelling something about calling the tow trucks if we didn't GTFO.

 

Z trunks make a really nice shade/napping area for smaller people, that is where you might find me halfway through the day

 

May I suggest:

Mexican Sombrero


Or an Asian Rice Hat

 

I should just wear all white and bring that rice hat... walk around lookin like Raiden lol
