2010 University of Maryland Spring Meet
Plan is same as last year's:
- VA people meet in Tysons Corner area at around 9:30am
- cruise to meet up w/ the folks in Rockville MD by 10am
- cruise and meet up @ the IKEA by 10:30am
- cruise again to UMCP's lot by 11am to get parking.
DO NOT be late. They will absolutely let no one into the lot after 12pm.

Thanks for posting guys. Maybe I'll actually be able to join the cruise this year, since I'm no longer an event organizer. I'll still probably be there early to help though. Looking forward to it! 4 years strong.
I feel your pain, as do the rest of the guys from the club... but just remember that we're under a lot of pressure/restrictions from the campus and CP police. We also had issues with a few of the tents blowing over onto cars.
That being said, I'm going to try to talk the guys into allowing tents in designated grassy areas, away from the cars. I think that would be a good compromise. Will keep everybody posted.
Also note, the heat last year was a bit of an anomaly for that time of year and the organizers will absolutely not run out of water this year.

I plan on bringing my own water this year... an hour wait to get water is ridiculous people will pass out before they get the water they need.
but those of us sitting out in that parking lot for 14 hours saw a few others. I was just trying to be reasonable and support your cause, even though I'm no longer a student or CPT officer. No need for the bitterness here
I always appreciate the support of the Z's and G's especially since I busted my a$$ to get a big Z/G turnout 4 years ago.
