you should just get the custom dyno tuning one..

you just pay watever the tuner charges for a tune then.. and you can get more power out of a custom tune with a good tuner.

yea I know its kinda hard to understand their site.

I got the Tuner package which comes with the cable so I am able to tune and retune as many times I like. It was $900 at time but you obviously need somebody to tune it for you and pay for your dyno time.

Uprev also do e-tune where you send in your log and they can send a tune for you to upload for I think $50.

You can also go to Function:Tuned and get them to tune for $500-600(?) Call them. You will not be required to buy anything from Uprev themself. I'm not sure how much F:T charge for retune. They literally just tune then flash your ecu for you for 5 different maps.

does F:T do a ecu reflash or anything?

I've been looking @ UTEC cuz theres a shop, where i did my dyno, that tunes them...just seem like an *** load to buy engine managment...then pay for money to tune it

Id hate to go cobb...but its cost efficiant

Let me settle this sense there is a lot incorrect info here.....sorry fellas.

If you go to F:T or others licensed....they have everything you need. You do not need to buy anything from UPREV directly. If you want the ability to tune it on your own laptop, etc you must buy the Tuner version.....this includes the software, cipher, etc. If you buy the standard you get three e-tunes (or you did) and cipher.....you can't tune a thing on your own. If you car is an 03-05 don't do this. You are basically paying 700 for cipher and data-logging capabilities. The early models do not have integrated a/f sensors like the 06+ do. The e-tunes can only happen if you buy and install an aftermarket wideband. In short, just call Dave or whomever is licensed to tune the software and say I want an Osiris tune. It is 600-700 bucks and you can get up to 5 maps on the car. You can buy cipher separate for ~250.
