I am on of the past employees with a lawsuit against AAM. I'm guessing this is why he dodged the Sherif when they tried to serve him. The States Attorney filed in court without him and I won judgement. They are in the process of getting a lean on his assests, does anyone with any law expereince know if I'm ever going to see any money since he apparently went belly up? The case has been 3 years in the works because he doesn't respond to anything from the states attorney or court. When I last talked to the States Attorney she said he can dodge 2 more hearings then they can issue a warrant for his arrest.

I stopped by today and got some information.
* Altered Atmosphere did not file bankruptcy
* They did not go out of business because of the Mid-A reputation or because of the economy like others have suggested. They were always booked solid until the day they closed up the last shop
* Mike no longer owns the company, but he still works there
* Their main focus will be R&D and mass producing parts and turbo kits
* Less focus on labor and installs with only 3 lifts dedicated to customer install. Less quantity, higher quality.
* A separate room with 2 or 3 lifts dedicated for R&D
* The new shop is MUCH bigger than the old shop
* They retained their machinist, fabricators as well as core staff (clint, jon, ect ect). The machinist was busy milling a new GTR plenum on the big CNC machine.
* They are open but still alot of work to be done before things go into full swing, maybe a month or so
Not trying to promote anything just sharing what I saw and found out first hand.

dont mean to single out barnabas too.....but he is getting info from not even 2nd hand but most likely 6th hand rehashing stuff from years ago...but ovbiously not well informed if he doesnt know about the "pics nutiR of boat"..()..He seems more like latching on to what his friends say about this......i know a lot about some of the older drama...but since clint has been there hes worked hard to improve thing...the reorganization seems to point that aam will focus on what they do better....manufacturing...rather tha # of builds......

How will they pay all of that money back?
* They did not go out of business because of the Mid-A reputation or because of the economy like others have suggested. They were always booked solid until the day they closed up the last shop
Then why was the shop name changed and why did they move? Debt?
* Mike no longer owns the company, but he still works there
Who owns the company now?
* Their main focus will be R&D and mass producing parts and turbo kits
I kind of believe this. Will AAM actually sell the turbo kits without requiring the customer to have the install done there?

Here we go again....and again....and again.
The best thing they can do is concentrate on producing parts....that's all they've been good for for the past 10+ yrs imo...why not capitalize on that?
