Yea I agree, myself included. I am having a hell of a time with this stage 4 clutch. Launching doesn't really get along with it. Spinning all the way into 4th doesn't help either. I'm sticking to back roads for now.
I guess that's personal experience, but most BMW owners I've met are general enthusiasts and pretty cool.
Why are you hating on the guy for getting a 335i? IMO he upgraded. The Z is a little bit better handling/more involving stock for stock, as well as coilover vs coilover. The 335 handles well though(more stable at 150mph too), plus with an intake, ECU, DP, and exhaust you're at about 400whp.
Do you tune your own car? If not then that argument is mute. My friend has a Proceed and changes things all the time, which is more than I see most F/I Z owners doing(besides changing fuel maps).

. Maybe I need to meet some more BMW owners away from the area I live in because all the ones I've seen are douche bags. The 335i is def a nice car but not my choice. Better? No, I don't tune my own car and probably never will. Props to your friend for being able to make changes to his Proceed. Wasn't refering to him though.

My brother (owns an Evo) always says that my next car is going to be a BMW, my question is, when did that become a bad thing?
I mean, I love my 350Z because it's sporty and classy, like many BMWs. I understand that the Evo is the "ultimate low cost race car" but at some point in my life, I don't want a car with a giant spoiler, regardless of the 400whp.
Guess I am getting old....
