I'm not trying to be a pricked but how is 255/40/17 on a 17x8 rim needy? I'm pushing 275/40/17 on the stock 17x8 rim.

Are you about the pop when you mount the tire to the rim?
Folks will one day grow out of tire stretching and start running bigass tires on little rims! i.e 255/40/r17 on a 17x8 wheel!

If you were dead set on some new wheels, and hated Volks what would you all get? My list of To-Do mods will def include a new paint scheme and some new wheels. Just not sure what to get so i won't get laughed at in the Mid-A.

Yea Clay I'm trying to stay away from Volks and WORK. I am convinced that I was first with the WORK Meister S1 on the Z in the area (I actually bought them brand spanking new from Cali). Then a few years later you see fools popping up everywhere in Mid-A with the same rims except they have that extra 0.5" in the rear and called mine weaksauce. Now that pissed me off. So I've come to realize I need to stay away from the obvious popular or the potential popular rims and go with some super extreme so stay with the permanent one-of-a-kind scheme.

HRE? IForged?

Wow, my 2 cents for what it's worth is to each his own in every respect of life. What one person likes another person may despise. However to not bash or hate makes you the better person, not what kind of car you drive. And if you don't like the way someones car looks, that's fine. It's their car and their life, no need to bash. However constructive critism is a good thing, suggestions are a good thing, but hate is ugly in all walks of life. I've been hated on and I have hated. Neither one is a pretty sight!

I couldn't resist adding my penny's worth. And I love my Z no matter what anyone says about it. I drive it, I put gas in it, I clean it and I paid for it. So what I do to it is my business! And the same goes for each and everyone of us. We all obviously love our cars!

See everyone on Sunday!

My volks may be kind of old school but I like em. I havent seen anyone in the Mid-A with them. They are kinda plain though. (Snapped this picture while researching where Goof found the color of his car.)

^^ No real "hatred" towards Volks at all. I bought my Axis Shines because a) they were a little different, b) i loved the lips on them, and c) it's what was in the budget at the time.
But for a while this whole site was "If you don't have $4000 wheels GTFO". And since putting them on they've been curbed 3x. If I would've done that to a set of expensive wheels I'd still be in my room crying.
I've seen some people around with blinged out 20s that look retarded so I'm not going that route. Just wondering what other options are out there.

Everyone's welcome to their own taste/style but it'd be nice to have something truly unique for once. I think the Goof-mobile set the bar way too high....LOL!

Just Tein S-Techs. I had to roll the fenders even with that little bit of drop. Hopefully I can get some better pictures soon

I'm getting Tein S-Techs installed on Friday, hope I don't have to have the fenders rolled.

It was only on my drivers side (probably a sign I need to loose some weight) But it only rubbed a bit while I was driving up to CT to see my family. I had some luggage in the back and pretty 113 pound Cambodian. Again it was only on the drivers side on those big dipping kind of bumps where the whole weight of the car comes down.
