I believe if you pay the fine then your good and i dont believe it has points..but if you dont pay it then it may..its like a parking ticket, etc. Think about it a lot of people would have points if that was the case..lol esp. in d.c.

Points are, as far as I know, ONLY when a cop issues you a qualifying ticket.

its impossible to issue points from a speed camera because they can't prove who drove your car.

Because I'm gay and will do whatever it takes to get off my last speeding ticket, i bought this retired cops book on how to beat your tickets (in court) but he said when it comes to camera tickets, he recommends just throwing them away. risky, but badass nonetheless.

Or the smarter thing to do is (if you have a 2nd car, or a car in the family) is to simply "swap" your plates (legally, thru the DMV.) Camera tickets only go toward that car, that model, and that license plate #. However, when they go back and check your records for unpaid tickets and realizes the 350z caught on camera actually is a 1991 Camry (the 2nd car you own and swapped plates with) they'll simply throw out the claim thinking its a computation error.

You should see the cops up here. Always out on nice sunny days, never out in the rain when you should slow the hell down.

I was told by a friend that if you pay by check and send it on for a dollar more then the ticket was they wont ever cash it or charge you since by law they have to issue you a refund and its more paperwork then the ticket is worth.
