Hello
So its been a while since I posted up or responded to posts on here. Wanted to say hello again to the OGs and the new crew. It was good seeing some of the faces in OC hopefully the show and crew scene will be back this year after the horrid attempts last year. Congrats to all the winners at OC and good luck to the ones competing on and off the track at Hyperfest this weekend. Be safe and bring home the prize!

oh eff me... oh well. I am getting quotes for a Vortech Supercharger today... the bug bit me again while I was at OC and I got to see yours and Goofs ride. Yours is very nicely done man... mad props.
I called them today to get a quote for a tune. I am trying to figure out how to cut a hole in my hood and place a piece of lexan in its place to show off the Vortech V3. I want something different and crazy... but not too off the wall. Puts down the hack saw... perhaps I should photoshop it first. LOL

Because of the complexity to do a cut out and attach you would lose the structural integrity and crumple zones of the hood... also to put in a cut out it would have to be either mounted above or below and to be flush would be pretty much impossible.
The other option is a full plexiglass hood... which noone makes for our cars and to get one custom made the costs are astronomical then you lose the dependability and high speeds would be extremely ill advised. With no money constraints I may entertain the full plexi/lexan idea and look into making it strong enough to track the car but for the cost of a CF hood I cant beat it.
CF has cooling functions too. maybe look into modding this style hood to show off your blower...
