Talking Another happy Hills Garage customer

Well Frank has made another customer extremely happy. I have been having clutch issues for a while so I bought a new kit for my HR. Anyone who knows the HR platform well enough knows they have issues with the clutch/slave cylinder. Frank and his wife took great care of me. I had the pleasure of watching Frank work and seeing how meticulous he was throughout the install. Not only does the clutch feel and perform great but it was at a great price. I have definitely found my new mechanic! Definitely 2 thumbs up.

And Barnabas the car is lookin sick!

I really have to swing down to this place one day and get a tune. All this good feedback is giving me great anticipation. Do you need an appointment for a tune or can you just swing in?

^ No they are not. Frank Hill doesnt do tunes. He has a tuner come in by appointment only. Ironic that the tuners name is Frank aswell. Thats why you have to call Suzanne. She will schedule you in.

Rkemp1. Glad to hear your situation is perfect. I agree, if you watch Frank do work he takes his time and does it right. The first time.

Clay, Tunes are only able to be done when frank smith can tune... NA tunes are usually done when a FI tune is being done soo it makes better use out of his trip to the shop.

Speaking of which... this was posted today on there facebook page
"HELLO EVERYONE! We will have out dyno and tuner here Wednesday around 7pm. If you are looking for tuning call for an appointment, if you want to do some pulls just come on by after 7pm. Just wanted everyone to know! Have a great day from us at Hill's."

soo if you want pulls or to get a tune...

^Are you getting yours done?

I got my car sorted after I found out it was leaking oil like an open faucet through my catch can and the gasket wasn't sealing around the dipstick.......which was giving **** poor readings. I might put my car up there.......no more smoke either!

Got the Exedy Stage 1 clutch and replaced the CSC and CSC metal tube assembly. I didnt want to go too agressive considering a lot of guys have blown the CSC with other popular kits like the JWT. This setup is supposed to be only slightly more aggressive than stock pressure with a lighter flywheel so it should do the trick until someone figures out that damn CSC.

Nice, at least you're doing it right. I went with an SBC clutch and flywheel from zspeedperformance.com. So far the CSC bearing sleeve that they've created seems to be working. I'll still be looking for a more permanent solution though.

Btw, Frank installed mine as well. Couldn't be happier with the attention to detail in the photos .
