I'll mention that to her.

Went to Hills today after my sister got home from school and had a chat with hill and his wife, looked at the new motor and got the estimate which ended up alot less than what suzanne quoted over the phone.

Then car towed from Darcars Nissan to Hill's. A TON of water came out the exhaust as the tow truck went out the exit and when it was being put on the truck.

Since the motor going in is already on the engine stand, my sister and I were thinking mine as well throw headers and hfc's on. What brands are out there and what do you recommend?

Just curious - what's the situation with your insurance? Are they going to pay?

I wish they would. The car had a cold air intake on it which sucked in the water.

+1 on that advice. From your description, the exhaust was full of water, too, so it wasn't just the intake side which caused the damage. Perhaps your mechanic might be able to get involved with the insurance adjuster? I wouldn't cave without a good fight.

Get long tube headers and random technology cats with a good true dual exhaust like fast intentions or similar. Test pipes are an option too.
