Damn. When they got my window they smashed the tint and peeled the whole window out of the door. Hope you're a light sleeper, because the odds are they're coming back.

Not the best area. Just have to keep your guard up when the sun goes down. I drive through there everyday.

07sanmarino- Ouch they got your car pretty good .

viceversa-I feel your anger . The good thing is they didn't get anything from you . My Old Honda Accord was broken into but the tint saved the glass from shattering .It literally sticked to the film . Luckily they didn't get anything from my car.

Call an auto glass shop, and they'll tell you the glass is tempered. Once the outer surface is damaged, it could shatter at any time, but at least the tint will hold most of the pieces together. No repair for tempered glass, as it's not like your windshield, which has a middle layer of plastic.

Hide everything in your car when you park, any cords or mounts are a temptation for the crackheads.

Crackhead are strange beings. Last year I was at work and my buddies Escort Wagon got broke into to steal a $150 cd player and my car was 3 cars down with a DVD and NAV and was not touched.

Fingerprints mean nothing. Dna either. Someone punched (yes... punched) a hole through the driver side window of my prelude to try and steal it. They decided that it hurt too much and they stopped. The blood all over my seat and inside of my car, even the trail of blood to the getaway vehicle wasnt enough to find someone and get an arrest or even a suspect.
