My car was attacked by some idiot in the projects so dumb so dumb so dumb sooo
...well not really in the projects lol but the other night someone apparently tried breaking into my car by bashing the passenger side window with a big ass rock....and failed. The rock caused some pretty deep scratched on the window and I'm really unsure as to how they were not able to break the window...weak ass bitches. Maybe the alarm went off but I'm not sure, I asked around my neighbors and they heard nothing. No damage to any other cars plus my neighbor has a very nice nismo 370z who parks on the street right next to me! wwwwhhhaaatttthhhhheeeffffuuuuucccckkkk
So now...how should I go about fixing this? Is it possible to fill the scratches with that resin stuff and polish/buff the shit outta the window??

At least they gave up and walked away instead of vandalizing your car. Some idiot tried this on my MR2 and failed, so he took a screwdriver and shoved it in my passenger door lock and moved it all around. :-/ Completely destroyed the lock, but the door was still locked so at that point I guess he called it quits.

You will spend more money trying to get that fixed and still have it look off than if you were to just replace window.
Just save some money and install the window your self.

The radar detector on the seat is what they were trying to get. I live in baltimore city and if you park on the street you have to take everthing out of your car and leave all your consoles open. That way they wont even try if there isnt anything in there.

radar detector is usually mounted on the rear view mirror and that would've been the only thing in the car worth anything. tint saved it from breaking? wow never would've thought tint could stop a brick size rock from breaking or even cracking the window...

The reason why he didn't break the window is because he never threw the rock. He tried to smash the window by swinging the rock with his bare hand. Obviously when you do that, you risk glass shards slicing your arm apart if you hit too hard (or at least, that's what he thought would've happened) and therefore never applied enough momentum to fracture the glass. I'm surprised he left evidence at the crime scene, you got his finger prints AND his rock... really really dumb on his part.

Exactly, just be happy it didn't break, this is what my old car looked like after the break-in:
notice the pry bar marks on the last pic. If there was no tint it would have been a simple smash and grab.
