*sigh* You do realize you've always been heavier than me, right? And I've just lost 15 more lbs with my new trainer.
When's your birthday? And what size dunce hat did you want again?

Off topic. You'd have been so proud of me today. Had a serious toilet clog all week. So instead of calling a plumber and paying $300. I looked it up on YT, bought an "auger"(sp?) from HD and just fixed it myself.
Now if I could only work up the nerve to lay down some new hardwood flooring in the dining room.

Did you remove the toilet or do it with the toilet still in place? Its really easy to scratch them if you dont remove them.

Well the guy on YT didn't unbolt it, so neither did I. Is that for more serious clogs?
I'm just happy to pick up a new homeowner's trick and not have to get raped by another handyman, plumber, etc...

No doubt easier to do without removing, you just run the risk of scratching it since most of those tools are metal.

removing means draining water, then unbolting 2 bolts. Pull toilet up, do your thing, put down a new wax ring, then reinstall the toilet with the 2 bolts.

There's really nothing to a toilet, its a really basic design.

Used to dip and smoke cigars in the Army. Luckily it never became a habit and never even considered cigarettes. You need to quit that crap anyways...
