Might pick up Tekken or one of the MK games if there's anything new out. Only fighting game I currently have is a boxing game and it seems more luck than skill so far.

finally got Xbox live

Just play man.. thats the only way you'll get better.. people can give you all the advice in the world but everyone has a different strategy to their game play... i love sniping! i could give you tons of good advice but if you just like to run and gun then my advice would be no good! It will come, just takes a while cause the pace of COD is really fast compared to all other games like Socom or other shooters.
