Dude that's perfect. I need to do some small project in the basement. Like knocking down some dry wall, building a door and such. Don't want to pay an arm and leg to get those contractors to do the work. You got time the next few days to come take a look and we can talk $$$?

E10, clarify something you said on FB the other night. You mentioned your batt was dying due to the type of tune you had[?] So if I get my engine tuned for all the small bolt ons I've added will I encounter this as well or am I misunderstanding you?

Couple things I should've done...
1. Unplugged the battery when I know I'm gonna let the car sit for a long period of time
2. Use a battery maintainer
3. Ditch the UTEC and go for something else like OSIRUS.

Yea so since I have UTEC (It's a piggy back system that "hacks" your ECU that creates an illusion of a tune.). So the UTEC device itself is constantly draining the battery even when the engine isn't on. And since I don't drive the Z much, I'm going thru battery after battery.

Ok, well in addition to my little interior mods for 2011 a tune is definitely on the agenda [FINALLY!]. So if i get the Osirus the first time around will i experience the battery issue as well? My car hybernates during our winters, except for quick trips to the grocery store and back. If this is going to cause more problems then I definitely don't want it and so far I think you and Jeff are the only ones talking about battery issues.

The Osiris simply retunes the Stock ECU so the drains and all are exactly the same as in your current condition since nothing else is added into the car
