^ ask your insurance company, "so you want me to pay $500 because someone ELSE rammed into me? Please explain why and how this makes any sense to you. Oh yes... and does 'common logic' a requirement to be working behind that desk of yours?"
I did but like "Seiran" said thats typically what your going to get hit with, which is true because I had to pay the same thing when I had my evo 8 and it was rear ended in O.C afew years ago at seacrets
Like Ahn said, check with them again. I also have a $500 deductible but when my insurance co was reviewing all the damage done to my front end and 1/4 panel they came back two days later and told me to never mind about it and somehow they made the other driver's ins eat the entire bill for over $2000.
If the accident isnt your fault you can wait till the claims process is done and make their insurance pay 100% of costs. If you want your insurance to pay for it right away then fight to get the money from the other insurance company then you have to pay your deductible then will get it refunded.
had a guy offer me a 2007 gsxr 600 with 11k miles for my sr20 240. straight trade. what you guys think? should i finish the project or just take the trade.

If not wrecked and chances are it was wrecked...
If not wreaked my guess is the bike is worth around 4500-5000
A couple of people I know had a track rental at MIR a couple days ago.....bone stock 458 Ferrari with a driver who had never drag raced before ran a 11.2 at 131 in auto mode. Thought I would share....

Thanks Patrick, and yeah I just talked to my insurance company and they insured me that I will be getting this deductible back since she was at fault and her insurance company said they would cover all the costs.
