Default Random knocking sounds up front

So after saturday of 100 Drifters of Dec. I started getting this random, fast knocking sound that looked like a possible loose bolt under the hood, but the hood sits very firmly and I can't imagine what else it could be. I didn't hit anything, didn't slide off the skid pad, so I doubt any suspension damage at all. No tire shreds or anything like that either since it was all on the wet skid pad. This knocking sounds along with what may look like the hood issue I just described came randomly when I was around 80mph and today around 55-60. Everything is perfectly sound when driving slower than that.

Any ideas if it isn't a loosened up bolt on the hood mounts?

Is it coming from the front wheel assembly?

Aftermarket strut bar hitting the hood?
Tire Lugs good?
Got enough oil
Does it do it constantly or over bumps? Aftermarket end links?

Does the sound change in pitch as you increase rpms? Are all of your belts and tensioners tight?

Sound is the same whenever it happens and from what I could tell it looks like the windshield end of the hood is jittering, but when I pulled on it after parking to make sure it felt nice and snug. It shouldn't be the engine since its perfectly fine running at lower and higher speeds than I mentioned.

check your windshield wipers... Mine made a clunking sound on the HWY once and it was the blade coming off... New ones on and sound went away.

Cool, on the 100DoD note,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55enCl9WUDk

Definitely got my feet wet. Day 1 was cut short by a heli w/ photographers and me getting tipped off to pluck the VDC fuse a little late in the day. After that, I had to get over my video game/RC car habit of goin all on or all off throttle, so after that it all started coming together.

Could my rim/tire have become unbalance somehow? Talking w/ a few friends, it could be just that.

I had this same issue after having mine up on jackstands for the 1st time. It did something to the front suspension. After having Driven1's lil bro waste several hours [and me waste several trips up there] we finally just agreed to replace the both front A arms with some adjustable Cusco ones. Problem went away and hasn't come back since.

It was/is around 80 on the dot. Put it in neutral, same thing around that speed. Steering feels smooth and good, engine feels smooth and good. Everything under and the hood is solid, nothing loose anywhere. Weird as hell.

Hmm. It could be that, but it'd be odd because it only started rattling this weekend and I haven't done anything besides the skidpad.
