Default Need to try a window switch

Original thread:

https://my350z.com/forum/maintenance...-that-one.html

Cliff's notes:

Having issues with one of my windows; would very much love to meet up with someone locally to try a known good driver's side switch to narrow down the possible cause.

Anyone up for a charity case?

This might seem odd but what, if any, kind of alarm do you have. After I got my alarm installed, when either door is opened, both windows slide down a quarter inch. When closed they both go back up.
Whats your schedule like? Mines is pretty erratic but if I'm free I can lend a hand

You're more then welcome to come over and get the switch to try it I have the tools to do it. If you need something just PM and I know a junk-yard that have parts for 350z's and not too far they are will to ship stuff.

Not caused by alarm, that much I definitely know.

Mine will go down, but not come back up. When I open the door, I have to roll the window down (with the key still in "on") then it will go up (won't go up without rolling it down a bit first). It will go up and down just fine with the door closed (key on). Auto down works fine, auto up doesn't work.

I've tried resetting it way more times than I can count, so I know it's not that. The brushes in the motor are new, so I'm thinking either switch or regulator.

Appreciate the replies everyone. I'll send PM's in order of post.
