Default Moving to Rockville/Gaithersburg MD

I am considering taking a job in the Rockville area and have no plans to make a hellish commute from Owings Mills everyday. Does anyone who has lived in the area have any recommendations for nice apartments/condo communities in the Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown or Montgomery Village area that don't butt rape you in price?

First off if your concerned about the commute the further north you move the worse the commute will be during rush, your going the wrong way if you dont want to be in traffic. Second whats your budget & what do you want. You can get a small one bedroom with utilities in bethesda for like 1200(no parking, no utilites). Or you can a bigger one bedroom in germantown and probably have some "issues" with the people in the area. For 1600(no utilities) you can get 900sq ft apartment less than 5 mins from 270 with a garage and full amenities, ie pool, gym indoor basketball court in gaithersburg). All depends what you want and how much cash your willing to part with

Search in Bethesda has turned up nothing in my budget. I know I really don't want to have to live as far up as Germantown but that is a possibility if the space needs aren't met in the heart of Rockville. So far I am keyed in on Avalon at Decoverly and Camden Fallsgrove. Would prefer to keep the budget around 14-1500. Garage would be nice but not a requirement. Gym isn't critical because I have my own to move with me. Those places would be less than 10 mins from my work so that area is pretty appealing. I have just seen mixed reviews on many of the places down there. Gonna check a few out this weekend.
