There was my going away that was posted on the boards, there was 2 movie meets and multiple car show meets that i went to that were posted on the boards also. In the last month I was home I went to 3 meets. There really isn't like a PM invite you just need to read the threads. Also whos stopping you from making some, just pick a date and something to do and post it.
The problem is nobody drives their Z's anymore, so to me I have no interest in any meets, but social gatherings are def strong thus far. Ive seen Zain and gone to Pubdog like 3X in a matter of weeks, only seen slim one time of course and it was after he was "released". Clay has been 50/50 he's been good.
I need to calm down some my a$$ is getting fat, we drink like teenagers....
I don't believe the # of meets is the problem, it's the # of ppl who actually show up!
From the past 10+ meets I've been to, the VQ representation is at an all-time-low.
Z meets or meets in general where anyone/everyone can show up? Personally, I don't mind hanging with anyone on here [as long as work the next day isn't a factor and I know about it ahead of time], but some of the meets where "EVERYONE" can come ....I'd rather skip from now on. I met Goof, Brian and Ryan at the last Columbia Park/Ride meet and just as I was telling Ryan what a cool, chill group of folks they seemed to be...the burnouts started...a street race between to bikes and Honda down 175 started....the "let me turn mah stereo up to 11 contest" started. Maybe it's me or maybe I'm getting to old for it, but I really don't feel like being hassled by local LEOs because a couple of douches don't know how to act right in public. Us getting together for drinks, BBQ, car washes = no problem.
